A really good performance, built on a solid defence and excellent goalkeeping ( demonstrating a real command of the area!) Intelligent passing is becoming a regular feature of the games, with many of St Peter’s players comfortable looking up before making early passes. This often hurts the opposition and buys an extra yard giving us greater opportunities. This is all topped off with quality shooting, with goals coming directly from strikes, but also from rebounds when goalkeepers spill the ball due to the power behind our shots.
After an uncertain start, the future is really promising, with a group of boys that are now really playing as a team.
